The Three year Degree in BBA Ports and Terminal Management has been planned to cater to the niche area of Ports and Terminal, where employment opportunities are increasing as the Government, State Governments and Private Sector is increasingly investing in Ports, Terminal, Logistics, and Transport related infrastructure.

The investment in these fields will increase Trade and Economic advancement.

This will generate good business opportunities for Port and Logistics service providers such as Shipping Company, Shipping Agencies, Import-Export firms, Container Freight Stations, Inland Container Depots and Multimodal transport Operators.

The course curriculum includes industry-oriented sector-specific subjects related to Ports, Different types of terminals, Ocean Shipping, Agency Business, Freight Management, Warehousing, Inland waterways transport, Marketing and Financial Aspects.

The course curriculum has been designed with the inputs from the experts in Port, Shipping and Logistics Industry. The detailed list of topics are –
 Ports Management, General Cargo Handling, Bulk, Liquid, Gas Terminal, multifunctional or independent commodity-specific terminal as part of any Industrial project.
 Operations of Multi-Modal Logistics Parks, Inland Container Depots/ Container Freight Stations/ Intermodal Terminal, Import-Export activities, Customs clearance, Free trade Zone Operation and value-added activities.
 Warehousing, Free Trade Warehousing Zones.
 Multimodal Logistics, Local and International Freight Management, Intermodal Terminals, Inland Water Transportation and Road Transport.
 Maritime Laws, Marine and Cargo Insurance.
 Container Terminal capacity, Container handling equipment, and Container yard services offered to customer (ship and ship owner). Container Logistics, Control of Ship Owners container inventory through the Terminal Operating system.
 Cost of offering Logistics services (efficiency against competition).
