Objectives
The primary aim of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
- Continuous Quality Enhancement: To internalise and institutionalise quality initiatives in skill-based curriculum delivery.
- Systematic Performance Evaluation: To channelise university efforts toward academic excellence and vocational training integration.
- Standardisation of Best Practices: To create a robust mechanism for standardising innovative pedagogical and administrative processes.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction Enhancement: To ensure high accountability toward students, industry partners, faculty, and funding bodies.

Roles & Responsibilities of the IQAC
Academic and Curriculum Enrichment
- Industry-Aligned Curricula: Setting guidelines for integrating National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) levels into university programs.
- Academic Audits: Conducting annual internal and external academic audits for all skill departments.
- Experiential Learning Audits: Monitoring the efficacy of on-the-job training (OJT), lab sessions, and industry internships.
Faculty and Pedagogical Development
- Skill Upgrade Programs: Organising Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) focusing on industry 5.0 technologies and corporate trends.
- Innovative Teaching Monitoring: Promoting student-centric learning mechanisms like blended learning and flipped classrooms.
- Performance Appraisal Systems: Implementing feedback-driven Performance Based Appraisal Systems (PBAS) for faculty teaching skills courses.
Operational and Institutional Documentation
- AQAR Submission: Compiling and submitting the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to NAAC on time.
- Data Centralisation: Maintaining an institutional database for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing institutional quality.
- Feedback Mechanism: Designing, collecting, and analyzing structured feedback from students, alumni, employers, and parents.
Strategic Collaborations and Infrastructure Quality
- Industry-Institute Liaison: Reviewing and auditing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed with corporate sectors for skill training.
- Infrastructure Assessment: Ensuring skill laboratories, high-tech workshops, and digital learning resources meet international safety and industrial standards.
