Symbiosis Skills & Professional University (SSPU), Maharashtra’s first Skill Development University, was established in 2017 in Kiwale, Pune under the visionary leadership of Dr. S. B. Mujumdar (President & Founder) and Dr. Swati Mujumdar (Pro-Chancellor).
The University is dedicated to crystallizing the “Make in India” mission of the Hon’ble Prime Minister by offering skill-based, industry-aligned education that creates employable graduates and future leaders.

Undergraduate Admissions
At Symbiosis Skills and Professional University (SSPU), we offer a wide range of skill-focused undergraduate programmes designed to prepare students for careers in high-growth sectors. Admissions are merit-based and follow transparent criteria as per the University’s Admission Policy AY 2025–26.
Eligibility Criteria (Highlights)
- B.Tech.: 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics plus one relevant subject (Chemistry/CS/IT/etc.) with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category, EWS & PwD Maharashtra students). JEE, MHT-CET, CUET, SEET or equivalent entrance test score required.
- B.Arch.: 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics + Chemistry/Biology/Technical subject with 45% marks (40% for reserved category, Maharashtra) OR 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics. Must qualify NATA or JEE (Aptitude Test in Architecture).
- B.Des.: 10+2 (any stream) or Diploma in related field with minimum 45%. Must qualify **Design Aptitude Test (DAT/SET/CEED/SSPU Test)**.
- BBA: 10+2 in any stream (Arts/Commerce/Science) with minimum 50% (45% for reserved category, Maharashtra). Selection through SOP, Personal Interview & Skill Test.
- B.Sc. (Beauty & Wellness) : 10+2 (any discipline) + Personal Interview.
- B.Sc. (Nutritional Sciences & Dietetics) : 10+2 Science stream with minimum 50% (45% for reserved category, Maharashtra) + Personal Interview.
- B.Sc. (Data Science) : 10+2 (any stream) with minimum 50% (45% for reserved category, Maharashtra) + Personal Interview.

At Symbiosis Skills and Professional University (SSPU), postgraduate programmes are designed to help graduates specialize in advanced domains, develop research capabilities, and acquire industry-ready skills. Admissions are conducted strictly on merit as per the University’s Admission Policy AY 2025–26.
Eligibility Criteria (Highlights)
- M. Tech. (Mechatronics – IoT, AI & Robotics): BE/B.Tech. in Instrumentation, Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Medical Electronics, Manufacturing, or Aeronautical Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category, EWS & PwD – Maharashtra). Valid GATE/SSPU Entrance Test score required. Final-year students may apply.
- MBA (Logistics & Supply Chain Management): Bachelor’s degree (3 years) with 55% marks (45% for reserved category, Maharashtra). Must qualify SKILL-CAT (SSPU) or any national entrance exam (MAT/CAT/SNAP/GMAT) + Statement of Purpose (SOP) + Personal Interview. Final merit list is based on entrance test + PI.
- M. Plan. (Planning): Bachelor’s in Architecture/Planning/Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category, Maharashtra). Admission through entrance test and interview.
- M.Sc. (Nutritional Sciences & Dietetics): Graduate degree in Home Science, Nutrition, Food Technology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS), Nursing, or allied fields with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category, Maharashtra). Selection through graduation marks + Personal Interview.
- M.Sc. (Data Science): Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Commerce, or equivalent with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category, Maharashtra). Selection through entrance test and interview.
