JSW Port Jaigarh

On 24th February 2026, students of BBA Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University had an enriching industrial visit to the reputed JSW Jaigarh Port — India’s 2nd largest private port, spread across 550 acres.

During the visit, students gained practical exposure to:

Integration of national logistics infrastructure with international trade routes
The critical role of ports in the global supply chain and strengthening India’s exports and Imports
Port infrastructure planning and large-scale terminal operations
Dry bulk cargo movement and real-time loading & unloading processes

The visit provided valuable industry insights into how multimodal connectivity, port-led development, and efficient cargo handling contribute to strengthening India’s position in international business and global logistics.
