Hon. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, Chancellor, Symbiosis Skills and Professional University (SSPU) and Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences (SUAS) was conferred with Lifetime Achievement Award at 34th edition of the prestigious Pune Festival.
‘Pune Festival’ a confluence of music, dance, drama, art, singing, instruments, sports and culture is celebrated during Ganesh Festival at Pune. This year the 34th edition of Pune Festival was inaugurated by Hon. Shri. Nitin Gadkari ji, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Hon. Shri. Devendra Fadnavis ji, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Veteran actor Sunil Shetty also grace the inaugural function.
On the occasion, Dr. S. B. Mujumdar President, Symbiosis Open Education Society and Symbiosis Foundation was conferred with Lifetime Achievement Award at the inauguration session.
Mr. Nitin Gadkari in his address praised noble work carried out by Dr. S. B. Mujumdar sir in the field of education and said that Mujumdar sir has taken Symbiosis to new heights. Not only in Pune, Maharashtra but even abroad people know about the Symbiosis. We are proud of him.
