Dr. Monika Dasharath Gorkhe

Dr. Monika is present working as Assistant Professor at School of Banking, Financial Serives and Insurance, BBA Fintech, Symbiosis Skills and Professional University. She is an educator cum researcher with 11 years of teaching experience and 2 years Industry experience. She is a certified data science analyst in languages like SPSS, Python, SAP FICO Module, Advanced Excel etc. Academically, she was awarded Ph.D by Savitribai Phule Pune University (Formerly University of Pune) in the year 2020. She has gained credits with Masters in Financial Management and International Business Management from Savtribai Phule Pune University. She has been a meritorious student throughout her academic career.

Prior to Symbiosis University she was associated with National Defence Academy, (NDA) Khadakwasla Pune. She has worked with esteemed management Institutions in and around Pune District.

She has conducted number of training programs/workshops/faculty development programs at national level in the area Finance, Stock Market (Fundamental Analysis), Online Students Engagement Modules etc. Her academic areas of interest are Accounts, Financial Management, Risk Management, Data Analytics and Research methods. She has also completed number of Faculty Internship Programs in area of Finance. She has written many papers which have been published by various national and international journals. She has contributed to Syllabus Design for the subject like Fintech Analysis designed for MBA SPPU Finance Specialization stream.
