Centre for Global Engagement
The Centre for Global Engagement (CGE) at SSPU connects education with the world through international partnerships, academic exchanges, research collaborations, and industry engagement. Its mission is to equip students and faculty with global skills, exposure, and opportunities to thrive in an interconnected world.
CGE offers academic mobility programs that enable students and faculty to study, teach, and collaborate internationally while earning recognized credits and building global networks. It also promotes international research through joint projects, publications, and partnerships that address global challenges.
By linking education with industry, CGE provides access to international internships, live projects, and skill-building opportunities with global organizations, helping students gain practical experience and career-ready competencies.
The centre also facilitates immersive experiences such as semester-abroad programs, study tours, and cultural exchanges, broadening participants’ perspectives. For those pursuing higher education abroad, CGE supports structured pathways, while also welcoming international students with comprehensive support services.
Additionally, CGE strengthens faculty development through global collaborations, visiting programs, scholar in residence and research initiatives. Overall, it plays a key role in expanding SSPU’s global presence and fostering innovation, collaboration, and leadership on an international scale.

Student short term mobility and Immersion programs
Our students from BBA (Digital Media & Marketing) at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University (SSPU) are making the most of their international journey at DHBW Karlsruhe, Germany, as part of the Summer School Programme 2026.
From engaging in interactive academic sessions and gaining insights into global industry practices to collaborating with peers from around the world, the programme is providing an enriching international learning experience.
