The School of Beauty and Wellness is a specialized academic unit dedicated to impart comprehensive education and skill-based training in the fields of beauty, cosmetology, wellness, and personal care. SSPU

The Graduate program offered by the school is designed to develop technical proficiency, creativity, professionalism, and entrepreneurial skills among students. Emphasis is placed on hands-on practical training, industry exposure, portfolio development, and real-time learning through workshops, demonstrations, university-level events, and collaborations with industry experts.

The curriculum integrates core areas such as skin care, hair care, makeup artistry, cosmetic science, wellness therapies, salon management, commercial business studies, and social media & marketing for beauty and wellness. Eligibility Criteria

  • Passed 10+2 examination or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognized Board/ Council/ University.
  • Candidates will be selected based on the personal interview conducted by SSPU.
  • The final Merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the Personal Interview conducted by SSPU.
  • A candidate who has completed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalent certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) (the application format is available on AIU website link: https://www.aiu.ac.in/documents/index/downloads/evaluation-form.pdf
  • All foreign qualifications need to be verified by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) by the candidate before seeking provisional admission.
  • The final Merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the Personal Interview conducted by SSPU.
  • Lateral Entry is permitted to the Second Year (SY B.Sc. Beauty & Wellness).
  • Eligibility for Lateral Entry:
  • Candidates who have completed a Diploma (minimum 1–2 years) in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, Hair Dressing, Makeup, Wellness, or related fields from a recognized institute.
  • Bridge courses may be prescribed by the university, if required.
