Symbiosis has become my home, it is a great place to learn and explore. My experience is very vast as the college, its faculties had helped me to overcome my issues. In a field such as Architecture, one needs to have creativity which I used to lack but having such friendly and supportive faculties had helped me to be creative at every single step. The assignments provided are very unique and interesting on their own with 75% practicals’s we get hands-on works which helps us to understand how things are actually been done. We are also provided with the latest machines such as laser machines so that we can make a model with more accuracy and fast. With a large number of Guest Lectures and workshops, we learn different skills which help us while designing. Symbiosis Campus is a very calm place everyone where one can focus on, enjoy, and learn. When it comes to Extracurricular activities the things are more interesting.

My overall College experience has been great. As I am not a local student  , I was worried on how well I would camouflage to the new environment .but the students and faculty here are so friendly and understanding that I got comfortable in no time. As this is a skill based university, we are given a lot of practical work which in a way boosts our confidence in how creative our mind can actually work. The facilities provided to our department are quite good. The computers are loaded with the latest designing softwares, not only the third year students but also the first year students are taught the basics of these softwares and we are already using it in our assignments. We have been provided with ample equipment’s for the workshop classes. The Library is filled with resources like journals and reference books which can also be reached online. The studio and lecture classes are always fun because of our faculty who come up with innovative ideas on how to not get us bored with the usual work.

How u got admission in this college : The admission process is totally based on NATA , JEE Paper2 and Personal Interview  conducted  by college. 70%practical and 30% theory format made me choose this college. Once you clear entrance exam’s marks criteria, a small interview have to be appeared for  and portfolio should be shown.   Course curriculum and exam structure : Course curriculum involves theory lectures as well as model makings and computer handling to give the students industry knowledge . Site visits are also arranged to get exposure about Architecture.   Faculties : All the faculties are well educated and hold Masters degree in the course they are teaching in. Helpful nature Knowledgable. They help  not only in theory but also in portfolio improvement to pursue quality work. Aware and handy with the use of digital media and machinery and equipment placed in skill Centre and labs.   Events held in college : Skillotsav- annual cultural event to nourish and give platform to non-academic skills of students Annual health checkup Site visits Workshops to enhance new skills and hands on experience Seminars and webinars by renowned architects       Fees : 100% authentic and transparency is maintained. Digital mode is used for payments. No additional charges are required to pay to secure admission. It is truly based on marks obtained and portfolio quality of individual.   Note on campus life : Campus and infrastructure is excellent and maintained time to time. Clean and hieginic place. Labs and skill centre are well equipped and students are allowed to work whenever they require. Awareness campaigns and conferences are held to connect students with industries and commercial world.   Senior students : Seniors are helpful. Always ready to exchange knowledge and skills. No ragging or bullying cases in the campus. Seniors are talented and focused on their career   Note on college management: Management is well balanced. From small daily task to large events, college management is always organized. Parents and students get to know every update about what is happening in the college to maintain transparency. Medical Centre is also available inside campus. Antiaging committee is also there but thankfully no such cases of ragging happened. In all the management of college is excellent.

Our course of Bachelor of Architecture is a professional course where we learn about everything that a professional needs to know. Architecture being a tough course we are taught everything in detail. 30% theory and 70% practical really helps us understand the concept better. We are being prepared in such a way that when we go further after our graduation, we won’t face much difficulties as we have been taught about everything in detail. From design to presenting, every process takes place so professionally that it helps us understand the importance of body language, presentation skills and how to interact with our jury panel.We learn a lot in our lectures and practicals and apart from that we have our yearly internship which prepares and helps us understand the reality of our field. Internship is the part in which we have to work independently and this helps grow and a step colser to being professionals.Overall the experience of being in a skill based college has helped us to grow a lot. Learning theories, doing practicals our self’s and going for internship made us understand the world of professionalism much better.
