Given the university is young and the conception of data science as a bachelor’s degree has been newly founded, the course has gradually evolved and become better and more practical as each term passes. The degree encapsulates a thorough array of interdisciplinary modules from foundational mathematics to programming and big data to machine learning. This coupled with ample industry exposure sets the tone for the successful entry of every student into the industry. “I completed my first year in B.Sc. Data Science, from SSPU this year, also it was the first year of the course itself. The course is really good and structured properly. All the faculty and mentors are very competent and helpful. They go out of the way to help us. Also, the course and the college itself is based on a more of a practical approach and not upon traditional learning method, which is the best part of the university, thus enhancing the skills within us. Guest lectures are also organized, related to various ongoing projects, so as to keep our knowledge up to date.
