Hi, my name is Jastaran Singh I'm an alumnus of Symbiosis Skills and Professional University, Batch of 2022 BBA in Digital Media & Marketing. I started my professional journey through campus placement as an intern. During the internship, I focused on understanding core concepts, delivering quality work, and continuously upskilling. My willingness to take ownership and learn beyond my assigned tasks helped me convert the internship into a specialist role. As a specialist, I worked more closely on projects, improved my problem-solving abilities, and supported team deliverables, which led to my promotion to JTL (Junior Team Lead). In this role, I not only handled technical responsibilities but also coordinated with the team and stakeholders. While Coming from Patna, I was looking for an institution that could expose me to a broader academic environment, industry interaction, and practical learning. SSPU Pune stood out because of its industry-oriented curriculum, experienced faculty, and strong focus on skill development alongside academics. Pune itself is a major education and IT hub, which meant better exposure to internships, workshops, and networking opportunities. Compared to other institutions, SSPU offered a balance of theoretical knowledge, hands-on projects, and career support, which aligned well with my long-term goals. My success is strongly connected to the foundation I built at SSPU: Technical skills gained through academic projects and practical labs helped me adapt quickly during my internship. Project-based learning improved my analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Internships and real-world exposure prepared me for corporate workflows and expectations. Soft skills, such as communication, teamwork, and leadership, played a major role when I moved into the JTL role.
