When I was in my second year of B. Tech Construction Engineering and Management, the world suddenly came to a halt as COVID-19 struck. For a skill-focused program like ours, learning from home felt like a huge challenge. Construction Engineering is meant to be hands-on, site-driven, and experiential—so adapting to a virtual environment was not easy. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, the university quickly transitioned to engaging online classes, virtual practical sessions, and continuous faculty mentoring. Through interactive discussions, real-world case studies, and constant guidance, our learning never felt disconnected or compromised. The program continued to strengthen my technical knowledge while also sharpening my problem-solving skills, teamwork, and professional communication. The guidance from faculty encouraged critical thinking and practical application of knowledge. Looking back, the foundation built at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University played a crucial role in shaping my professional journey.
