I’m Vishal Vadiya, an alumnus of B.Tech in Construction Engineering and Infrastructure Management -Batch 2019 Being back on campus today brings back a flood of memories. My four years at SSPU were truly special, and returning after graduating makes me reflect on what a beautiful and transformative journey it has been. I joined SSPU during the COVID period, a time filled with uncertainty and anxiety—especially since construction is a highly practical, hands-on field. Learning construction without being physically on-site felt challenging at first. However, SSPU ensured that our education remained industry-oriented, structured, and professionally delivered, even in a virtual format. Despite the circumstances, the learning experience was strong, relevant, and impactful. The curriculum and practical exposure helped me build a solid foundation in construction and engineering, which I apply in my professional role today, where I lead and manage construction and engineering operations. I am proud to now return to SSPU as the Alumni Coordinator for the Pune Chapter, staying connected to the institution that played such an important role in shaping my career.
