We, School of Beauty and Wellness, Symbiosis skills, and Professional University uphold the ethos and values of the National Skill Development sector interacted with the science, knowledge, and technology of education leading to the creation of global Indian Entrepreneurs/ Managers who could perform under any circumstances.
By offering effective mentoring, psychometric analysis, wellness practices, availability of excellent library with a digital knowledge database, state-of-art labs and focused attention on every individual student by well-experienced faculty members of School Of Beauty and wellness, SSPU, We ensure to highlight potential to each individual student and prepare them to cope up with the high level of performance in the contemporary stressful world. We inculcate in the students the habit of lateral and innovative thinking, reading habit, research orientation, decision making capability along with nurturing and developing physical and mental strength to sustain and excel under any situation.

I am Mehak Batta from BSC. Beauty And Wellness, Symbiosis Skills and Professional University. I am pleased to inform you that I have finally completed my book “Joyous hands and happy feet” which is the first-ever book written by an Indian author on the subject of manicure and pedicure. My 321 pages book will help the readers gain knowledge about the manicure and pedicure procedure and on top of it about the history, equipment, trolley setup, and much more. This book is useful for people who want to enter the field of cosmetology or for anyone who wants to enhance their knowledge in the beauty industry. The journey which started a year ago has finally come to an end with my book being published on amazon and I would request you all to buy this book. It would be a great support. We all are dealing with the threatening state of coronavirus. Clearly, this pandemic is dejected as being confined to our homes for such an extended period of time can cause boredom, stress and conflicts. Nevertheless, we all can keep our spirits up at this moment by treating this lockdown as an opportunity to do things we usually do not get time for. During this time, people should try to maintain their regular lifestyle and as students, a major part of our everyday routine is our classes. A lot of educational institutions have made the provision for online classes. Likewise, our university, SSPU, is providing us with the same. These online classes are giving us a semblance of our usual college schedule. We are provided with all the necessary study material and even assigned with timely submissions of all the subjects. Our faculty has been working immensely so that our syllabus doesn’t lag behind; they are taking online video classes to make sure of this. This way our education does not suffer. On the contrary, there are some drawbacks. In colleges we are provided with an environment where we are committed to learning with discipline. But when taking online classes at home there are fewer chances of creating such surroundings. Sometimes there are connectivity issues or students can even get distracted by occasional disturbances. There is no one physically present to invigilate us and teachers cannot analyze our mind and behavioral activities. However, because beauty and wellness is majorly a skill-based course we are still able to practice at home, for instance, we were given an assignment on creating a hairstyle by our own, and students were still able to conduct it because we have been taught that way. In a nutshell, studying online is altogether a different and a new experience with its own pros and cons and hopefully we all are realizing the value of things we usually used to take granted for.
