About
B.Tech in Construction Engineering and Infrastructure Management is a program that skills the students and trains them in all aspects of the Construction industry – Planning and Project Management, Execution and Construction Technologies, Structure and its stability, Surveying, Quantity take-offs and billing, Environment and its Management, Geotech and Geological stability and Renewable energy.
The School of Construction Engineering and Infrastructure Management has set up a state-of-the-art Skill Centre on the University campus, providing the students with a live environment to work, understand the industry requirements and specifications and serves a wide spectrum of skill activities – Tiling, Plumbing, Concrete Casting for different structural members, Rebar cutting, Scaffolding, Masonry & Plastering, Safety on-site, etc.
Our on-site and off-site training provides the students with excellent opportunities to learn and gain hands-on experience about the real-life problems of the industry. The students undergo yearly internships at various construction sites, with our leading Industry Partners, and are mentored by qualified teachers from SSCEM. We invite guest speakers from around the world who share and guide the students in practical learning, sharing the experience from the industry. Our faculty are well qualified and have experience in national and international projects, with work experience in renowned companies. They train the students to become their best version in the choices that they make – aiming to construct and build the future of every student

We at School of Construction Engineering and Management uphold the passion of hands-on skills and training to transform the Indian management system in interaction with corporate, knowledge, and technology of industries leading to the creation of global Indian managers who could perform under any circumstances. By offering state of art Skill center, Construction Yard, International and National exposure via Industry executive connects, availability of excellent library with a digital knowledge database, state-of-art computer lab and advanced software’s and focused attention on every individual student by faculty members of SSCEM.
We ensure to highlight the potential of each individual student and prepare them to cope up with the high level of performance in the contemporary stressful corporate world. Our faculty members are young and enrich corporate world experience backed by excellent academic expertise. Over and above the academics are inclined with the goal of Skill India Development. A lot of contemporary emerging technologies like digitalization in construction, Energy and Sustainability and practices adopted by the business organizations like Construction Logistics, Strategic Cost Management, Inventory Management, are carried out to add additional management knowledge and effective mentoring to the students who get a better cutting edge and competitive advantage over the construction management students of other Institutes.
Achivement
Students from School of Automobile and Mechatronics Engineering Competed in SAE SUPRA competition held at Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida, U.P from 10th to 13th July 2023
Mr. Kavish Shetty, a student of S.Y Automobile Engineering won the Gold Medal in Maharashtra State Shooting Competition held in August 2023.

What is your program's duration?
B.Sc. (Data Science) – 3 Year Program. However, after each year there is an internship module of 8 credits. The detail of internship is as under
2 months after second semester (During First year)
2 months after Fourth semester (During Second year)
6 months after fifth semester (During third year)
M.Sc. (Data Science – 2-year program
What courses can I use to meet the program's prerequisites?
It could be better if you come with a basic background of below mentioned subjects/Domains.
Computer Programming:
- Problem solving, analysis and design of small-scale computational systems, and implementation using a procedural programming language.
- Python is the language most utilized in our program, however students are able to apply with backgrounds in other languages.
Statistics:
- Parameter estimation, introduction to the collection of data, elements of probabilistic modelling, basic probability computation techniques, discrete and continuous random variables and distributions, expectation and variance, central limit theorem, single-parameter confidence interval estimation, and exposure to any statistical software package.
Calculus or Linear Algebra:
- Calculus: single variable calculus, limits, derivatives and integrals of algebraic exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions play a central role, applications of differentiation, and fundamental theorem of calculus.
Linear Algebra: systems of linear equations, matrix algebra, linear transformations, and determinants.
Does M.Sc. (Data Science) have thesis component.
Yes, In the final year (4th semester) a thesis must be submitted along with one research paper published in web of science/Scopus indexed journal/conference.
