About School

The School of Professional and Extension Studies was founded in 2021 under the aegis of Symbiosis Skills and Professional University with a vision of imparting quality education to the aspirant learners’ community which was unreached until now. The School firmly believes in the mission that quality education at higher levels is a basic right of all human beings and that one shall not be denied the same due to socio-economic or cultural constraints. With this mission, the School has now been catering to the UG and PG level educational needs of working professionals, allowing them to upgrade themselves with skills through a work-integrated approach.
The School boasts of highly learned and distinguished faculty members who are motivated by the ‘giving back to the society spirit’; this is evident by the plethora of academic initiatives undertaken by the School since its inception.
The School offers a wide range of programs using a blended learning approach. Over a period of time enhancement of employability and entrepreneurship amongst the learners has not only boosted the vision of the School but also proved its ever-increasing relevance in modern times.

Learning Modalities

Our curriculum covers skill-based components extensively. The continuous assessment techniques are meticulously employed to evaluate the progress of each-and-every student. Assignments, Mini Projects, Projects, Group Discussions, Case Studies, etc. are assigned to students to ensure their participation in the continuous assessment process which leads to unique personalized learning experiences and skill enhancement. The programs are multidisciplinary in nature and hence classes through the ‘Inter-Disciplinary Approach’ are also conducted which awards the learners a holistic understanding of the concepts.
